Since Norton Rose Fulbright's merger with Chadbourne and Parke, several Latin American-focused lawyers have joined other firms. A team of 10 lawyers, all former Chadbourne lawyers, joined WINSTON & STRAWN'S New York office as partners. Additionally, Clara Krivoy, former head of the Ibero-America private clients practice at Chadbourne, joined BROWN RUDNICK in the same role.

There have also been some notable incorporations and separations in Latin America. In Costa Rica, CONSORTIUM LEGAL incorporated the tax team of Batalla Salto Luna. In Ecuador, CORRAL ROSALES CARMIGNIANI PÉREZ, a firm which came to be when Corral Rosales merged with Carmigniani Pérez, have once again become two separate firms: Corral Rosales and Carmigniani Pérez.
